Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 1–3 years in communications, content creation, social media, or legal support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to simplify complex legal/policy topics for general audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop, write, and edit content for social media, website articles, policy briefs, client advisories, and advocacy campaigns.
• Manage and maintain the organization's social media platforms, including content scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
• Translate legal, policy, and community issues into clear, accessible messaging.
• Ensure all communications align with advocacy goals, branding, and ethical standards.
• Monitor online engagement, respond to inquiries, and escalate sensitive concerns as needed.
• Maintain and implement a content calendar aligned with campaigns, events, and priorities.
• Track, analyze, and report on communication performance metrics with improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate with lawyers, program staff, and community partners to gather content and document impact stories.
• Provide administrative and paralegal support to lawyers and staff.
• Assist in legal research, case preparation, and documentation.
