Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) invites an Advocacy Specialist, Philippines based in Manila, to drive national policy reform and strengthen engagements with government agencies. You will lead analysis, coordinate multi-stakeholder initiatives, and shape strategic policy briefs and advocacy events.

Responsibilities include developing advocacy frameworks, mapping stakeholders, delivering trainings, and representing IJM in policy forums to advance justice system reforms for vulnerable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advocacy, policy, programs and systems building with government or related work.
• Strong legal writing, policy design, and regulatory drafting skills.
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and executive communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement a responsive advocacy framework to achieve reform objectives.
• Map stakeholders, define priorities, and develop advocacy plans with focus on enforcement and prosecution.
• Support trainings for law enforcement and prosecution development under the strategy.
• Draft policy recommendations, bills, and amendments to support system reforms.
• Represent IJM in stakeholder meetings to build networks and advance policy positions.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute advocacy events and produce reports.
