Duties and Responsibilities

The Administration, Logistics and Procurement Officer plays a critical role in creating, preparing, and coordinating an organization\'s end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the process. His primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing Procurement Processes: Coordinate sourcing and procuring necessary materials and supplies to meet production demands.
  • Coordinating Logistics and Distribution: Overseeing the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to each farm, customer, or other facility.
  • Monitoring Inventory Levels: Keeping track of inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
  • Collaborating Across Departments: Working closely with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Sales to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Safety: Work on and implement safety guidelines and ensure that all supply chain processes adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Establish distribution Channel: Work on the connection with sea food buyers and distribution channels.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Business-related courses.
  • Experience: Has more than 5 years of logistics, supply chain management, buyer, and booking experience. Preferably from the food sector, export markets or high demand market background.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Abilities: Self-starter, motivated, and can communicate with different stakeholders to enhance the process of the operation, with a "get it done" approach.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Capability to identify issues within the supply chain and implement effective and economical solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools to monitor and manage operations efficiently.
  • This role is pivotal in ensuring that products, supplies and bookings are produced and delivered to the right locations on time and within budget, directly impacting customer satisfaction, the activity\'s cost efficiency, and the organization\'s profitability.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Responsible for providing general administrative services and support but not limited to the admin department, facilities management, and executive requirements.
