Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking an Admin Intern to join our team and support daily office operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in office administration, coordination, procurement support, inventory management, and employee services.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related fields is preferred. Fresh graduates and interns are encouraged to apply; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Admin Intern to join our team and support our daily office operations. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in office administration, coordination, procurement support, inventory management, and employee services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administrative and office coordination activities.
• Support the management of incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, calls, documents, and packages.
• Help maintain office records, databases, filing systems, and inventory logs.
• Assist in monitoring and replenishing office supplies and equipment.
• Support procurement activities, including sourcing, requesting quotations, and tracking orders.
• Help maintain asset management records and inventory tracking systems.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and distribution of office materials and company assets.
• Coordinate meeting schedules, conference room bookings, and office events.
• Prepare, organize, print, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
• Support travel and accommodation arrangements for employees and visitors when needed.
• Assist in coordinating office services and vendor-related activities.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of administrative records.
• Provide general administrative support to employees, clients, visitors, and business partners.
• Participate in special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Office Administration, or a related field.
