Job summary

PwC in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate in External Audit services to provide actuarial services and business advice to a range of clients, from small, fast-growing to large entities. The work includes designing or reviewing actuarial models or valuation for retirement benefit reporting, life and general insurance reserves, and IFRS 17 implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Passed at least 1 exam along the Associateship for Actuaries.
• Knowledgeable in Excel especially using VB Macros.
• Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense.
• Good problem solver and quick learner.
• Project management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Team player.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project.
• Prepare deliverables.
• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters.
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand.

Requirements

• Candidate with 2-3 years experience in Actuarial is preferred.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Passed at least 1 exam along the Associateship for Actuaries.
• Knowledgeable in Excel especially using VB Macros.
• Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense.
