Job summary

PwC Philippines External Audit services is seeking a Senior Associate to provide actuarial services and business advice to clients ranging from small, fast-growing entities to large organizations. The work includes designing or reviewing actuarial models or valuation for retirement benefit reporting, life insurance and general insurance reserves and IFRS 17 implementation, among others.

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work in a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in Actuarial preferred.
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Passed at least 1 exam along the Associateship for Actuaries.
• Knowledgeable in Excel especially using VB Macros.
• Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense.
• Good problem solver and quick learner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project.
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters.
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand.

Requirements

• Candidate with 2-3 years experience in Actuarial is preferred.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
• Passed at least 1 exam along the Associateship for Actuaries.
• Knowledgeable in Excel especially using VB Macros.
