Job summary

Manulife's MGS Actuarial Function seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director to lead a high-performing team in data analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning in Quezon City. The role covers pricing, portfolio and asset modeling, and valuation, with cross-functional collaboration to deliver precise financial projections.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of actuarial experience, an Associate designation, and strong leadership, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite) at UP Ayala

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial-related field.
• 5+ years actuarial experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
• Associate designation (SOA, ASP) with progress toward Fellowship.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python.
• Experience applying actuarial concepts to model and analyze financial metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Hybrid work readiness at UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of actuaries in data analysis, risk assessment, and business planning.
• Support pricing, portfolio modeling, asset modeling, and valuation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure precise financial projections and pricing strategies.
• Mentor team and promote continuous learning and development.
• Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and regulatory developments.
