Job summary

Sun Life Financial Philippines seeks a Finance professional with accounting background to join our finance team. You’ll handle reconciliations, reporting and support management with accurate schedules and analyses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 2–3 years in general accounting and familiarity with SAP GL and related systems. CPA or CPA candidate is preferred, and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience in General Accounting and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and local tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Identifies reconciling items and coordinates with units to resolve variances.
• Provides accurate financial support schedules and reports for management, internal auditors, and regulators.
• Supports end-to-end business processes and documents procedures and controls.
• Participates in system enhancements and finance projects.
