Job summary

Teradyne seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support Corporate Credit and Collection operations, providing financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting. You will assess credit risk, manage receivables, and assist with budgeting and forecasting while ensuring compliance with relevant controls.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, ERP experience, and flexibility to work night shifts when rostered; knowledge of international trading is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in Credit and collections; international trading exposure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Access, Excel, Power Query and Power Automate; automation tools preferred.
• Experience in Oracle 11i or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to resolve financial issues professionally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Willing to work extended hours when needed.
• Ability to work night shift and during certain months when rostered.

Responsibilities

• Financial Data Entry and Analysis: enter data accurately, perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare reports.
• Credit Risk Assessment: analyze data to assess creditworthiness and set limits for portfolio risk.
• Cash Recovery: monitor accounts receivable, reconcile customer accounts, apply payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Management Reporting: assist in preparing financial statements and periodic reports; ensure SOX controls and compliance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: support budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ad hoc Projects / Work: support treasury and accounting initiatives and asset inspections.
