Lancesoft Philippines in Makati is seeking an experienced Healthcare AR Specialist to join the JMH account onsite. The role requires 2+ years of healthcare AR experience in a BPO, with denials, appeals, payer follow-up, and accurate reimbursement.

The successful candidate will resolve outstanding claims, coordinate with insurance payers, and ensure timely reimbursement for services. Night shift/graveyard shift is required; on-site work in Makati is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
• Healthcare AR/RCM experience within a BPO setting is required.
• Experience in AR follow-up, unpaid/aged claims, payer follow-up, denial management and appeals.
• Strong verbal and written communication; analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Makati and accommodate a graveyard shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform timely follow-ups on outstanding healthcare insurance claims to ensure prompt payment.
• Investigate unpaid, delayed, and aged accounts receivable.
• Contact insurance payers to verify claim status and delays.
• Analyze denials, rejections, underpayments, and discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit appeals and reconsideration requests for denied or underpaid claims.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our JMH account in Makati. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of healthcare AR experience in a BPO environment, with strong expertise in AR follow-up, unpaid and aged claims, payer follow-up, denial management, appeals, underpayments, and payment recovery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving outstanding claims, coordinating with insurance payers, and ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely follow-ups on outstanding healthcare insurance claims to ensure prompt payment.
• Investigate and resolve unpaid, delayed, and aged accounts receivable.
• Contact insurance companies and payers to verify claim status, identify payment delays, and facilitate claim resolution.
• Analyze and address claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit appeals and reconsideration requests for denied or underpaid claims.
• Identify root causes of claim issues and take appropriate corrective action to maximize payment recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of payer interactions, claim status updates, and follow-up activities.
• Review account details and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with payer requirements.
• Meet productivity, quality, collection, and turnaround-time targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and reimbursement issues efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
• Must have prior experience in Healthcare AR/Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) within a BPO setting.
• Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
• AR follow-up and claims resolution
• Unpaid and aged claims
• Insurance payer follow-up
• Denial management and appeals
• Underpayment analysis
• Payment recovery and collections
