Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or a related position.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices, billing statements, and supporting documents.
• Ensure that invoices are accurate, complete, and properly approved before processing.
• Record accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process payment requests and other accounts payable documents.
• Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.
• Reconcile supplier statements with company records and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and concerns.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and other departments regarding purchase orders, receiving documents, and billing.
• Maintain organized and complete records of invoices, payment documents, and other accounting files.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of accounts payable reports.
