Awesome CX by Transcom is looking for talented individuals like you to join our awesome team! Be an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. This role will focus on supporting the finance team and do related tasks such as recording customer payments, collecting balances, and researching payment discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile sales orders and invoices.
Daily order review and analysis of AR and collections.
Timely processing of cash receipts; allocation of payments, deductions, and additional charges.
Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage collection efforts and associated functions.
Set up and maintain customer accounts.
Investigating circumstances of non-payment and expediting collections.
Clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
Proactively raising and resolving any EDI or invoicing issues.
Weekly reviewing of open receivables.
Assist with month end closing.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Maintain accurate historical records.
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
Ask questions and look for ways to improve our processes.
Communicate within our team and be proactive in asking for help when needed.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Foundational understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Prior experience in an accounting department is not necessary but a plus
Prior experience using an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks) a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivation, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize in order to complete all tasks in a timely manner and handle several issues simultaneously
Flexibility and adaptability in a change-oriented environment
Enthusiasm and eager to learn and problem solve
Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize and execute concurrent assignments
