• Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, and chief or senior accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor.
• Assist staff in preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
• Liaise with department heads to keep departments within budget.
• Prepare tax returns accurately and ensure timely tax payments.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Supervise and guide account clerks and junior staff.
• Provide regular updates to management on company finances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting legislation.
