Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in a diversified multinational company and a leading supplier of innovative high-tech and healthcare products industry.

Our respected client is seeking solid knowledge in all general and cost accounting for the position of Accounting Supervisor. The job is based in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Philippines.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review a wide range of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of accounting clerks and specialists. Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and conduct performance reviews to foster a productive and collaborative environment.
  • Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time and prepare supporting documentation and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial results.
  • Uphold and enforce company financial policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems. Support the implementation of new software or process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Experience with ERP systems like Dynamics 365 is a plus, based on other Hoya job postings.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other professional accounting certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage.
