A leading company in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Accounting Staff to support financial operations and ensure accurate accounting practices. The ideal candidate is organized, has strong leadership skills, and possesses at least three years of relevant experience. You will assist in financial reporting and monitor all accounting transactions effectively.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the accounting personnel is able to adequately contribute in the attainment of the company’s objectives by effectively and efficiently executing accounting systems and principles.
To assist the Accounting Head in its decisions affecting operations by providing accurate and timely financial information, such as balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow/position.
To help monitor collections, disbursements and other payables.
Checks the Billing Statement prepared by the Accounting Staff.
Reviews Aging of Accounts for possible issuance of demand letter for delinquent accounts.
Monitors bank deposits and cash flow.
Reviews and discusses with Accounting Head any concerns with the reconciling items, such as variances/discrepancies.
Ensure proper recording of all disbursements and other transactions.
Monitors check usage and issuance.
Monitors Petty Cash and Cash Advance.
Reviews payroll summary prior endorsing to Accounting Head.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
BS In Accountancy
At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in the same field
Computer literate, proficient in Excel/Spreadsheet
Leadership skills
Can work under pressure
Flexible and patient
Must be organized
Knowledge in accounting and financial analysis and control
