Zubu Design Associates is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Officer to join our Accounting/Finance Department. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for recording of financial transactions, assisting in compliance of government regulations, and contributing to the financial health of the company.
● Accounts Payable: Monitoring and processing the payment of invoices and due payables, and recording of payroll entries on behalf of the organization.
● Accounts Receivable: Collecting and recording payments that come into the organization.
● Reports: Maintain timely and accurate financial reports, budget monitoring, records and general ledgers to be reported to Management.
● Prepare, analyze and monitor budgets.
● Perform general bookkeeping like updating manual books and filing of taxes.
● Perform administrative duties such as process flows, filing, transcription, maintenance and production of forms, processing business permits and other permits needed.
● Supporting the Financial Comptroller and executives with projects and tasks when required.
● Being a key point of contact for other departments on accounting and financial matters.
● Make sure that the company's accounting policies and procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Must be a graduate of Management Accounting or Accounting related course.
Experience: At least 2-3 years experience as an Accounting Officer/Supervisor or similar role.
Skills:
Must be proficient in MS Applications specifically Excel.
Experience with Quickbooks is an advantage.
