Job summary

City Government of Muntinlupa - Government seeks an experienced accounting professional to develop and implement new procedures that enhance workflow within the accounting department; monitor performance and optimize resource use. A BS in Accountancy and CPA are required, with at least five years in related work.

Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, strong written and oral communication in English and Tagalog, and the ability to train staff are essential.

Qualifications

BS in Accountancy or related field.
At least 5 years of work experience.
CPA license or certificate.
Computer literate with MS Office and SAP.
Excellent written and oral communication in English and Tagalog.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources.
Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues.
Determines accounting department’s policies and procedures including compliance with Company policies.
Provides training to subordinates (new and existing).
Monitors and manages the month-end accounting processes.
Monitors month-end reports, schedules, payments and receipts.
Support management with special projects and workflow process improvements.
Performs the duties of accounting staff (INHOUSE) during their absenceto be able to meet and supply the immediate requirement of the Company.
Participate in the annual inventory taking.
