This role leads the accounting team in general ledger, taxation, payables, receivables, audits, and internal controls. Ideal candidates hold a CPA with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and strong skills in analytics, leadership, and communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting systems, and ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting Oversight — Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• General Ledger Management — Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation.
• Tax Compliance — Oversee BIR filings, tax payments, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting — Support management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Audit Coordination — Lead internal and external audit activities and ensure timely submission of requirements.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight — Ensure timely processing of payables and receivables
• Policy & Process Improvement — Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and accounting systems.
• Team Leadership — Supervise and mentor accounting staff; ensure high performance and compliance with deadlines.
