Job summary

P&A Grant Thornton Philippines is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial transactions. This role leads month-end and year-end closes, financial reporting, tax compliance, fixed asset management, audit coordination, and continuous process improvements while maintaining IFRS/IAS, ICFR, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and CPA certification.
• At least 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closes with timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Manage fixed asset ledger, asset counts, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate tax compliance and prepare periodic tax returns.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Ensure IFRS/IAS, ICFR, and internal controls compliance.
• Provide finance business partnering for cross-functional projects.
