Job Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Closing

• Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for submission to Management
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure proper month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit and financial statements

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management
• Analyze financial performance, cost trends, and profitability
• Support management in financial decision‑making

Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight

• Oversee AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timelines
• Review disbursements, collections, and intercompany transactions
• Monitor aging reports and ensure proper collection strategies

Cash flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure operational stability
• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash position reporting
• Manage banking relationships, loans, trust receipts, and letters of credit
• Ensure timely settlement of financial obligations

Inventory & Cost Accounting

• Oversee inventory accounting, including stock movements and adjustments
• Ensure accuracy of product costing, including landed cost computation
• Lead annual physical inventory and reconciliation
• Monitor cost efficiency and recommend improvements

Taxation and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements
• Oversee preparation and filing of all tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR, etc.)
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company compliance
• Liaise with external consultants and government agencies

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Lead internal audit coordination and implement audit findings

Systems & Process Improvement

• Review and improve accounting processes and workflows
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
