Job summary

Recruitify_HR in Manila seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee all client engagements in the BPS division, ensuring compliance with firm standards and directing engagement execution and staff development.

This role reports to the Accounting Director and requires leadership, client-facing skills, and strong tax/compliance knowledge. Experience with local and international clients, and proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks/SAP HANA is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA and bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in PH tax compliance (VAT, WHT, Income Tax with BIR) and FS preparation.
• Experience handling local and international clients, preferably with an auditing firm.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, SAP HANA; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and risk assessment for engagements.
• Oversee bookkeeping and tax compliance with PH regulations (VAT, WHT, Income Tax with BIR). Prepare and review FS; manage month-end/year-end closings and inventory.
• Supervise and review staff, monitor time budgets, and ensure quality control.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Participate in recruitment, mentoring, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to business development by identifying engagement leads and supporting marketing initiatives.
• Oversee administrative functions including billing, collections, resource allocation, and compliance with firm policies.
• Ensure proper documentation, confidentiality, and timely completion of all deliverables.
