Job description

Acts as a strong decision support for the assigned business units through analysis and reporting of financial results; partners with BU stakeholders and provides insights to drive business performance.

• Analysis of category performance and trends which includes sales mix/assortment and gross margin.

• Analyze marketing and operations programs and bridge impact to sales and profitability.

• Discuss financial results to Operations and draw insights from store performance.

• Partner with supply chain to evaluate efficiency, capacity, cost and overall performance.

• Capital expenditure budget monitoring and control.

• Prepare quarterly forecast considering actual performance, trends and initiatives including management of risks and opportunities.

• Case study and analysis of proposed new stores working with operations and store expansion teams

• Support the month-end close process by providing latest estimate of monthly results and commentaries.

• Support Commercial Finance Manager to manage finance operations e.g., incentives and insurance claims

Job Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.

• Commercial finance knowledge, strong business acumen

• Communicates with impact, networks and collaborates with senior management and across different levels of the organization

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferably with external audit experience

• Proficiency in SAP (other related ERP systems), MSExcel and PowerPoint

• Amenable to work in Libis, Quezon City
