Job summary

ASUS is seeking a senior accounting leader in Ortigas, Pasig, Philippines. You will support the Country Head, oversee all accounting and finance activities, and ensure adherence to HQ policies and local laws.

The role demands strong leadership, multinationals experience, and expertise in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years in accounting, a relevant degree, and CPA qualification as a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, preferably in a managerial or leadership capacity, and in a multinational environment.

• Advanced Excel skills with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Mature and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Experience working with regional or multinational finance teams.

• Drive continuous improvement in local financial and operational processes.
• Oversee and coordinate financial operations with ASUS Headquarters and external stakeholders.
• Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including daily activities and financial management.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and risk management to ensure financial accountability.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and audits.
• Support quarterly and annual tax filings, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and local statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.

• Drive continuous improvement in local financial and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate financial operations with ASUS Headquarters and external stakeholders in alignment with the company’s strategy and vision.
• Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including daily accounting activities and financial management.
• Monitor internal cash flow, budgeting, and risk management to ensure financial accountability and operational efficiency.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and year-end audits.
• Support quarterly and annual tax filings, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
• Ensure financial operations comply with both internal corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience in Accounting, preferably in a managerial or leadership capacity, and in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting systems/software.
• Excellent leadership skills, detail-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mature, able to work under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced IT industry environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• Chartered Accountant / CPA qualification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience working with regional or multinational finance teams
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Experience managing cross-border finance operations
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
