Job Description

• Provide internal customers with high quality, accurate, and timely financial data and reports to enable informed business decisions. Scope of responsibilities are all encompassing: Revenue, Expenses, Payroll, Statutory tax returns & Management accounting and reporting
• Manage the finance team (4 members)
• Able to coordinate and communicate with members of senior management
• Understand company finance processes and identify control risk points
• Drive improvements and efficiencies within the team and any impacts across other teams of the organization
• Perform and review month-end close process to ensure books and records are accurately stated and all closing procedures are completed
• Review daily and month-end activities of the team, such as: Daily sales reports, Daily cash expenses, Bi-monthly payroll reports, Monthly Inventory reconciliations, Monthly Sales and Expense Reports & Month-end journals
• Assist in the accurate computation of taxes, preparation of tax returns, BIR monthly dues, and supporting documents in a timely manner
• Prepare monthly management review pack and assist in the preparation of the financial reports
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
• At least 5-10 years experience in accounting/finance with direct experience on full-cycle general ledger processes
• At least 5 years experience as manager
• Direct experience in Philippine Statutory reporting, including BIR tax returns
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Microsoft Office proficient, with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel functions (lookups, Pivots, Sumifs, If-Then, etc.)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in the Food Industry is a plus
• CPA licensed is strongly preferred
• Experience in management accounting, financial planning and analysis preferred
• Must be willing to work in the Muntinlupa area
• Must be a team-player, and able to collaborate with other office staff
• Must be able to communicate well with colleagues and the company management
