Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Technology.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead and develop the accounting staff including AR, AP, and payroll.
• Ensure all transactions and filings comply with regulatory requirements and coordinate audits.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor spending and forecast variances.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal accounting policies, procedures and controls.

Job description

An accounting manager oversees an organization's daily financial operations. They direct accounting staff, manage the general ledger, ensure compliance with financial regulations and prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. They are key to safeguarding assets and guiding executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor the accounting department staff, including A/R, A/R, and payroll.

• Compliance & Audits: Ensure all transactions and filings comply with BIR regulations. Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Budgeting & Analysis: Develop annual budgets, monitor organizational spending, and forecast future financial needs and variances.

• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal accounting policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial risk.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accounting Technology.

• Experience: Typically 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including previous supervisory experience.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, deep knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and ERP systems.)

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, critical data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.
