Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking an Accounting Associate to support the monthly close and ensure timely processing of accounts payable. You will work with the accounting team to maintain accurate records, prepare reconciliations, and assist with routine tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines while upholding internal controls and documenting processes for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Prepare and post recurring journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Accounts Payable: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices; verify accuracy and approvals; maintain vendor records.
• General Accounting: Maintain organized records, support audits, and assist process improvement and cross-training.
