The Role

Responsible for recording and analyzing transactions that are due for payment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Receives request for payments from suppliers and internal customers (employees) such as but not limited to:
1. Local and foreign suppliers' invoices and billing statements
2. Employee advances, liquidations and reimbursements
3. Petty cash replenishment
2. Checks and verifies the completeness and validity of the requests submitted in accordance to company policy and BIR requirements
3. Coordinates with the requestor and/or supplier for any clarification or discrepancies noted
4. Maintains vendor’s contracts and information
5. Creates accounting entries based on the request for payments received in accordance to applicable accounting standards, company policy and BIR requirements
6. Ensures that all obligations are properly accounted for and processed on time
7. Prepares BIR Form 2307 in relation to the documents process
8. Prepare schedules related to Accounts Payables as required to complete the month-end closing procedures
9. Performs other related tasks as assigned

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology, Financial Management or any other related course.
• With at least 1 year experience is desired but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, PFRS, Taxation
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Experience in any ERP system
• Can work independently and with a team.
