Job summary

SourcePH is seeking an Accounting Analyst to deliver high-quality reporting of business operations and statistical analysis. The role supports the CFO and other officers by providing daily reports, insight, and analysis for clients and internal projects.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in accounting or related field, fluent English, and at least one year of experience with strong Excel skills. Core hours are nightly; occasional overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily analytical support to accounting, executives and end users through ongoing project management.
• Analyze data driven projects and reports and make modifications as necessary.
• Extract and collect data from multiple sources and systems to create and maintain daily comprehensive reports for management and other end users.
• Perform various ad-hoc analyses, including financial performance, systems and platforms analysis.
• Consult with end users to help define specification for the analysis of projects and system enhancement.
• Additional research and projects as assigned.

Job description

The role is responsible for high-quality reporting of business operations though report creation and statistical analysis, including assisting the CFO and other officers with the organization’s reporting needs. The Accounting Analyst will work closely with multiple teams (including those with our partner company in the U.S.), to provide daily reports, insight and analysis for various clients and internal projects.

Essential Functions:

• Provide daily analytical support to accounting, executives and end users through ongoing project management
• Analyze data driven projects and reports and make modifications as necessary
• Extract and collect data from multiple sources and systems to create and maintain daily comprehensive reports for management and other end users
• Perform various ad-hoc analyses, including financial performance, systems and platforms analysis
• Consult with end users to help define specification for the analysis of projects and system enhancement.
• Additional research and projects as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment; however the dress code is casual. The office hours for the company are graveyard, Monday- Friday 20:30- 5:30. The preferred spoken language in the office is English.

Position Type:

Full-time. The employee must be available during the “core” work hours, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and/or holiday work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

This position does not require travel outside of the office.

Competencies, Required Education & Experience:

• University degree or college diploma preferably in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
• At least one year of work experience in related field
• Excellent analytical skills, including business and financial analytics
• Creative and resourceful in identifying issues and discrepancies and developing solutions
• Knowledge of financial and management reporting is a plus
• Must have extensive knowledge on Microsoft Excel
