Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Job Responsibilities

· Prepares expenses/Profit and loss analysis of an assigned segment/division.

· Prepares adhoc financial reports and supporting schedules as needed

· Prepares and compiles financial data to come up with adequate BIR tax returns.

· Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.

· Prepares journal entries relevant to the expense analysis assigned to her/him.

· Reconciles internal management reports

· Identifies significant movements in expense accounts on comparative periods

· Prepares other regulatory financial reports (e.g. monthly alphalists, SEC GFFS, summary lists of sales and purchases)

· Maintains the cost center/chart of accounts database and manages the allocation module in the ERP.

Note: Subject to evaluation and change depending on the need of the department and resort operations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

· Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accountancy.

· Certified Public Accountant

· Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of the functions of general ledger accounting

· Adequate knowledge of accounting systems and software ()

Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours as necessary.
