A leading recruiting firm in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced accountant to liaise between finance teams and stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA/CA qualification is a plus, and at least 2 years of experience in Australian accounting. Salary: P70,000 - P90,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT)
Skills Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related, 2 years + Australian Accounting experience, CPA/CA or similar qualification preferred. Retail industry experience highly desirable. Strong technical accounting knowledge and sound understanding of Australian Accounting Standards. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SAP, NetSuite Business Warehouse, Power BI, Blackline, and/or OneStream. Strong communication skills—able to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and results-driven approach. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to challenge existing processes for improvement.
Act as a key contact between finance teams, IT, leadership, and external advisers. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data into the general ledger, including journal uploads and reconciliations. Maintain the integrity of the month-end process, including reconciliations, task controls, and allocation processes. Prepare financial reports, P&L reviews, and variance analysis with clear recommendations for improvement. Support automation and process improvement initiatives to help the business scale alongside strategic objectives. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial reporting standards and Trade Practices Laws. Collaborate with internal teams across the organisation and liaise with external auditors, advisers, and group functions. Promote safety and compliance by implementing safe work practices, reporting hazards, and integrating compliance requirements into daily processes.
