• Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
• Trains the Bookkeeper in raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
• Assesses the benefits of all prospective contracts.
• Ensures adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits.
• Ensures programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements.
• Oversees the management and coordination of all reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
• Oversees all purchasing activity.
• Develops and maintains systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
• Monitors banking activities of the organization.
• Ensures adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
• Serves as one of the trustees and oversees administration and financial reporting of the organization's savings.
• Investigates cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer its employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals.
• Oversees the financial statements and cash flow projections for the use of Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
• Assists in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff.
• Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversees the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including assets purchased.
• Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the manual financial review.
• Works with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Reports, analyzes and ensures integrity of all financial information.
• Prepares monthly Financial Statements.
• Must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant
• Preferably graduate of BS Accountancy or any business related courses.
• 5 years and above working experience is required for the position.
• Previous work in a hospital setting is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work in Cainta Rizal
