Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Record and post journal entries to the general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices and payment requests.
Verify supporting documents before payment processing.
Prepare checks, bank transfers, and payment vouchers.
Monitor due dates to ensure timely payments.
Accounts Receivable
Monitor customer accounts and outstanding receivables.
Prepare billing statements and official receipts.
Coordinate with clients regarding collections and payment concerns.
Prepare aging reports and follow up overdue accounts.
Tax Compliance
Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with BIR regulations.
Ensure timely remittance of withholding taxes, VAT, and other statutory obligations.
Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documents.
Assist during BIR audits and tax assessments.
Payroll Support
Assist in payroll computation and verification.
Ensure proper recording of payroll expenses and statutory deductions.
Prepare monthly management reports.
Analyze financial data and identify variances.
Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and internal controls.
Compliance and Audit
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist internal and external auditors during audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
