Position Title: Accountant

Quick Rundown

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support overall financial health. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

What You'll Do

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
Conduct audits and ensure internal controls are properly implemented
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving and efficiency improvements
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
Stay updated with accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations

What We're Looking For

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is a plus
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Yardi Voyager, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
