What's the role?
As an Account Manager, you’ll be out and about visiting our customers, wherever they’re busy working, to find out how we can help them. You could find yourself on construction sites, nuclear plants, offices, or warehouses.
Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and it’s a hands-on job. It involves demonstrating some of the industry’s most pioneering products, selling our state-of-the-art software, and providing all the services and after-care associated with the Hilti brand. Instead of traditional cold calling, it’s about nurturing relationships with warm, responsive customers and helping them find innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.
What does the role involve?
The role aims to create value within the account portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies, building long-term, sustainable, and profitable customer relationships. It involves professional field sales and high-level customer consultation within the defined territory and target industry. The jobholder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
What you need is:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment, courage, and a competitive drive
- A thirst to learn and challenge yourself
- Mobility to travel throughout the National Capital Region or nationwide
- Displays leadership potential
Why should you apply?
We have an excellent mix of people, and some of our best account managers joined us with no prior experience. If you’ve never worked in sales or construction, that’s fine. Success at Hilti depends on teamwork and ability, regardless of your background.
What do we offer?
We’ll provide everything you need to excel, including your own van full of tools and one-to-one coaching. You’ll enjoy a unique combination of autonomy and camaraderie, managing your own diary while being part of a friendly team.
You’ll have significant responsibility, managing your own portfolio of customers, including trades experts, project managers, or company leaders. From there, we trust you to do whatever it takes to deliver outstanding results. Going the extra mile will be rewarded with top-tier training, development, and career opportunities as you prepare for the next challenge.
Day-to-day, you’ll report to your regional head of sales, who will support your career growth.
