A leading logistics and shipping company seeks a motivated sales professional to enhance freight revenue. The role involves soliciting new clients and maintaining relationships, requiring experience in logistics or corporate B2B sales. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong customer service focus and commitment to corporate values.
Job Description
1. Responsible for shipping freight revenue through solicitation, retention, and growth.
2. Handle freight cycle booking, from customer withdrawal to container delivery.
3. Provide quotations to clients and follow up to ensure competitiveness of rates.
4. Complete SAF (Shipper's Agreement Form) for customers requesting terms, and submit it to finance for approval by management.
5. Coordinate closely with CS, DAT, Operations, Landtrans, and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Assist finance with Accounts Receivable issues, especially overdue accounts.
7. Acquire and develop at least 4 new clients per month.
8. Visit clients regularly to maintain relationships and solicit bookings.
9. Inform top management of market updates, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
10. Develop methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to management.
11. Maintain a high customer service focus in all duties, considering both internal and external customers.
12. Demonstrate motivation and commitment, approach tasks with enthusiasm, and seek opportunities to learn and improve personal performance.
13. Be flexible and responsive to changing requirements, performing tasks as needed to achieve goals without compromising service quality.
14. Support team goals by cooperating and assisting colleagues.
15. Maintain confidentiality of all internal data and information related to the company's success and continuity.
16. Uphold corporate values and adhere to all policies and procedures of Gothong Southern Freight.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform additional tasks as delegated by the immediate and division heads.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
3. Be proactive in auxiliary duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in sales within logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or shipping industries are preferred. Experience in B2B or corporate sales is highly valued. Sales Engineers are also encouraged to apply.
