Job summary

Y5staffing is seeking a documentation and quality assurance professional to review ABA session notes and ensure accuracy and completeness. The role involves verifying required information and signatures, following up on missing data, and tracking deadlines to keep records compliant with HIPAA and insurance documentation requirements.

You will liaise with therapists, supervisors and admin staff to correct records, maintain organized patient files, and report errors for management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in ABA, healthcare quality assurance or medical documentation preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA therapy terminology and documentation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and healthcare software.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, professional and responsive during working hours.
• Willing to learn new systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review ABA session notes and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Check that required information, signatures and documentation are properly submitted.
• Identify missing or incorrect information and follow up with the appropriate staff.
• Monitor documentation deadlines and ensure records are completed on time.
• Help maintain compliance with insurance and company documentation requirements.
• Keep track of errors and prepare reports for management.
• Communicate with therapists, supervisors and administrative staff regarding corrections.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
• Handle confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
