Job summary

Anglo Singapore International School seeks a passionate A Level Computer Science teacher for its Secondary team at the Sukhumvit 64 campus. You will lead Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (9618) lessons, focusing on theoretical and practical work and preparing students for exams.

You will engage students with algorithms, data structures, databases, networking, and AI topics, while supporting progression from IGCSE where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent will be an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Computer Science, with significant experience teaching A Level Computer Science.
• Strong and recent experience teaching the Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (9618) syllabus.
• Strong understanding of Cambridge assessment requirements and examination preparation.
• Demonstrated ability to teach programming, algorithms, data structures, and computational theory at A Level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (9618) lessons.
• Teach advanced CS concepts: algorithms, programming, data structures, computer systems, databases, networking, software development, computational theory.
• Prepare students for Cambridge AS & A Level examinations (theory and practical components).
• Develop students' programming skills with appropriate languages, environments, and activities.
• Support curriculum planning and ensure progression between IGCSE and A Level.
• Introduce emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and robotics where appropriate.
