Physical Superintelligence is a startup at the frontier of AI-accelerated scientific discovery. The PSI Fellowship seeks exceptional physicists for 3 to 6 months full-time to produce substantive technical contributions and potentially publishable research.

Role involves collaboration with the founding team on high-impact research at the physics-AI intersection, applying AI for physics benchmarks, and contributing to the technical roadmap with production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• PhD or advanced PhD candidate in physics is required or strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML, not just curiosity; you have shipped models or built systems.
• Strong Python programming skills; production-quality code required, not just notebooks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PSI's founding team on high-impact research at the physics-AI intersection.
• Contribute to projects aligned with your expertise, such as AI-for-physics benchmarks or verification work.
• Produce substantive contributions to PSI's technical roadmap and publishable research when applicable.
• Utilize PSI's compute to ship working systems; exceptional performers may convert to a full-time role.
