Private Advertiser is seeking a 2D Concept Artist with a passion for gaming and digital illustration to bring imaginative worlds to life for slot-style games. You will design characters, environments, logos, reel frames, and UI concepts based on game briefs and target audiences.

You will use AI-assisted tools such as Midjourney or similar platforms to accelerate concept development and explore diverse art styles, including Filipino culture, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling.

Are you a creative Concept Artist passionate about gaming, digital illustration, and bringing imaginative worlds to life?

2D Concept Artist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, illustrations, and visual designs based on game briefs, gameplay mechanics, and target audiences.
• Design engaging game assets, including characters, environments, slot symbols (Wilds, Scatters, High Pays, Low Pays), logos, reel frames, and UI concepts.
• Create mockups, moodboards, and visual references to establish the overall look and feel of games.
• Utilize AI-assisted creative tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Magnific, Copilot, OpenArt, or similar platforms to accelerate concept development.
• Explore and develop diverse art styles, including fantasy, mythology, adventure, horror, Asian-inspired themes, and casual gaming.
• Incorporate Filipino culture, mythology, traditions, and local visual elements into engaging game concepts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external game development partners to maintain visual consistency and quality.
• Review artwork and provide constructive feedback to improve visual appeal, symbol clarity, and design execution.
• Prepare concept presentations, visual guidelines, and art direction materials for production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in concept art, game art, digital illustration, or related creative fields, with slot game experience or strong familiarity with casino game visuals.
• Strong understanding of illustration, composition, color theory, lighting, stylization, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of slot game design, particularly game symbols, visual hierarchy, and player-facing artwork.
• Proficiency in AI image-generation or AI-assisted design tools, supported by strong independent artistic judgment.
• Ability to develop multiple visual styles and adapt designs to different game themes and creative directions.
• Understanding of Filipino culture, mythology, traditions, and local creative references.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to deliver high-quality artwork within deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to present creative concepts clearly.
• Willingness to work onsite.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience developing artwork for slot games, casino games, or iGaming platforms.
• Familiarity with game production workflows and collaboration with external art providers.
• Experience creating simple animation mockups, motion previews, or AI-assisted animations.
