Job summary

Fyfe, an Australian multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a 12D Designer to join the Design & Drafting team remotely from the Philippines. You will produce civil design drawings and models for road, drainage, earthworks, pipeline projects connected to Australian energy and resources assignments.

Reporting to a Design Manager, you will collaborate with project engineers and survey teams, contribute to concept through construction phases, and help refine templates and QA workflows while

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in 12d Model and civil design deliverables.
• Experience designing roads, drainage, earthworks or pipelines.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting or related field.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Bring your 12d Model expertise to a role where the quality of your work will directly support energy and resources projects across Australia.

Working remotely from the Philippines within Fyfe's Design & Drafting team, you'll produce civil design drawings, models and digital deliverables across road, drainage, earthworks, pipeline and associated infrastructure projects. Reporting to a Design Manager or Team Leader, you'll work closely with project engineers, civil engineers and survey teams to deliver coordinated, accurate and compliant design outputs.

You'll apply independent judgement to routine design tasks, contribute across concept, detailed design, tender and construction stages, and help improve the templates, workflows and standards that support consistent project delivery.

• Produce accurate civil design drawings, models and digital deliverables using 12d Model.
• Develop road, drainage, earthworks, pipeline and associated infrastructure designs aligned with client standards and project requirements.
• Strengthen project quality by checking drawings before issue and maintaining compliance with QA requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and survey teams to deliver coordinated outputs across concept, detailed design, tender and construction stages.
• Improve 12d Model templates, workflows and design standards across the Design & Drafting team.
• Share your technical knowledge by guiding less experienced drafting staff in 12d Model and civil design conventions.

What You'll Bring

You’ll combine strong 12d Model capability with careful attention to detail and a practical, collaborative approach to civil design.

• Advanced proficiency in 12d Model and demonstrated experience producing civil design and digital deliverables.
• Experience designing roads, drainage, earthworks or pipeline infrastructure.
• A Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Design or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of applicable civil design standards, authority requirements and relevant codes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and QA compliance.
• The ability to work under general supervision, exercise independent judgement on routine tasks and elevate complex matters when required.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary project teams, together with familiarity with document management systems and project QA requirements.

It would be great if you also have experience supporting energy and resources projects and familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
