Cusi Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant to join our on-site team in Cusco. You will manage inquiries, consultations, and bookings for our Machu Picchu tours and hikes, designing personalized itineraries for travelers from around the world.

Day-to-day work includes responding via email, phone, and WhatsApp, preparing quotes, and coordinating with operations and guides to confirm details. English and Spanish fluency are required, with a focus on friendly, responsive service.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in travel and ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication and customer service with empathy and problem solving.

Team members work closely with travelers from around the world, offering personalized service and authentic experiences in the Andes.

Role Description

The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cusco, responsible for managing inquiries, consultations, and bookings for Cusi Travel’s tours and hikes. Day-to-day tasks include responding to potential clients via email, phone, and Whatsapp, explaining tour options and itineraries, and designing personalized packages and itineraries according to travelers' needs. The role involves preparing quotes, processing reservations, coordinating with operations and guides to confirm tour details, and ensuring all customer information is accurate and complete. The position also will contribute to marketing and tour information published online, and promoting availabile tours. This position requires close collaboration with the local team and consistent presence at the office and other designated on-site locations in Cusco.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written interaction with local and international clients.
• Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and problem-solving for travelers.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in travel with the capacity to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Familiarity with the tours and treks in Cusco.
• Experience in marketing is a plus but not required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Able to use basic office software, email communication, and operations systems.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Cusco.
