Job summary

BairesDev in Peru is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead a Node.js and TypeScript platform hosted on AWS. You will translate ideas into scalable services and partner with product teams to deliver impact across our global customers.

You will own the lifecycle from design through production, mentor peers, and apply AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while keeping systems healthy in production. This remote role offers flexible hours and USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing event-driven microservices.
• Hands-on with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Proven track record shipping to production.

• Background designing event-driven microservices architectures in production.
• Hands-on work with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Track record taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools.
• Skill working directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
