Staff Backend Engineer - Python at BairesDev

In this role, you'll bring deep technical expertise to the backend systems behind products serving millions of collectors. This is a hands-on position where your judgment on architecture and design directly raises the bar for the whole team. What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.

• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Exposure to the collectibles domain.
