Job summary

YOFC Perú is seeking a Senior Microwave Engineer to integrate, configure, commission, and troubleshoot Nokia PTP/PTMP microwave links. The role focuses on delivering optimal link performance and supporting field and NOC teams during incidents and capacity upgrades.

You will validate performance, participate in capacity changes, and document configurations and results. The position requires hands-on Nokia equipment experience and travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or professional degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Wireless Communications or related field.
• Experience in integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PTP/PTMP microwave networks.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia microwave equipment.
• Knowledge of link budgets, frequencies, capacity, RSSI, BER, and interference.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, VLANs, and basic routing.
• Basic knowledge of DWDM and optical transport networks.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (indispensable).
• Availability to travel to field sites as required.

Responsibilities
