Job summary

YOFC PERÚ S.A.C. is seeking a Senior Microwave Engineer to join our regional fiber expansion team. You will integrate, configure, commission, and troubleshoot Nokia PTP/PTMP microwave links across field sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include validating link performance, supporting NOC and field teams, and contributing to capacity upgrades. Strong English, hands-on Nokia experience, and travel readiness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Wireless Communications, or related field.
• Experience in integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PTP/PTMP microwave networks.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia microwave equipment.
• Knowledge of link budgets, frequencies, capacity, RSSI, BER, and interference.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, VLANs, and basic routing.
• Basic knowledge of DWDM and optical transport networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify the point of failure before escalating.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to travel to field sites as required.
