Citco Bank is seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our Compliance team. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with AP, AR, Tax and audit teams in a global financial services context.

Your experience with Oracle Fusion, Excel and financial reporting tools will support timely and accurate management reports and financial statements across multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant GL accounting experience.
• Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous.

As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery acrossbanking services.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulatory standards
• Identify and recommend process improvements for GL efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. AP, AR, Tax) to resolve discrepancies
• Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager, particularly during month-end, year-end close, and audit periods.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant GL accounting experience
• Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates)
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools/dashboards
