Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Senior Data Reliability Engineer to strengthen data quality and reliability across our pipelines. You will implement freshness, volume, and schema checks, and build reconciliation between source feeds and Gold-layer tables.

You will integrate alerting with observability tooling, define recovery objectives, and help safeguard critical reference and pricing data in a growing data platform. This is a 100% remote role with USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data reliability engineering.
• Strong experience implementing data quality frameworks.
• Experience with data observability tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Senior Data Reliability Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build a new data quality layer, implementing freshness, volume, and schema checks across pipelines, plus reconciliation between source feeds and Gold-layer tables. Wiring alerting into existing observability tooling, you'll ensure issues are caught early, before they can impact downstream consumers.
