Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent systems using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Python-based frameworks in a remote setup.

The role demands building prompts, tool definitions, routing, and orchestration with grounding, citations, retrieval, context management, guardrails, and human review; integrating agents with enterprise APIs; and delivering automated evaluations with a focus on performance,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years developing Generative AI, AI assistant, or agent-based applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio.
• Strong Python development skills and REST API integration.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, MCP, and agent orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience implementing agent evaluation, guardrails, grounding, citations, and context management.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices for production AI applications.
• Experience developing and deploying secure, testable enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
