BairesDev is hiring a SDET (Junior/Mid) to design and implement automated testing solutions, acting as a bridge between development and QA. You will build scalable tools to accelerate releases while ensuring reliability.

The role focuses on UI/API automation, working 100% remotely with flexible hours. You’ll collaborate with global teams, using Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, TypeScript/JavaScript/Java, and CI/CD practices to drive quality.

Formación

• At least 1 year in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
• Experience in UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java for automated tests.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman or REST Assured.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration and automated QA in dev pipelines.
• Advanced English proficiency.

As an SDET, you will design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure high software quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will act as a technical link between development and quality assurance, building scalable tools that accelerate release velocity while maintaining system reliability.

What You'll Do

• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using modern web tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Design and execute comprehensive UI and API automated test suites to identify defects early in the production cycle.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to provide immediate feedback to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews to advocate for testability and robust design patterns.
• Manage test data and environments to ensure consistent and reproducible results across diverse platforms.
• Analyze test execution reports to drive continuous improvements in coverage and overall system performance.

What We Are Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
• Proven expertise in UI automation using modern frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Proficiency in programming with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java for developing automated test scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration and maintaining automated QA processes in dev pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
