This role combines statistical forecasting, demand analytics, and stakeholder management to drive forecast accuracy and business performance across a diverse portfolio of products.

Reporting to the regional planning leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the statistical forecasting process across multiple international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and maintain accurate baseline demand forecasts using statistical forecasting methodologies.
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, seasonality and demand drivers to improve forecast quality.
- Review forecast outputs and identify opportunities to enhance forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
- Partner closely with local market planners to challenge assumptions and align forecasts with changing market conditions.
- Support forecasting activities for new product launches where historical sales data is limited or unavailable.
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform demand segmentation and identify the most appropriate forecasting approaches across product portfolios.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to continuously improve forecasting processes, tools and methodologies.
- Present insights, recommendations and forecasting assumptions to business stakeholders across multiple markets.
Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning or related functions.
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Retail or similarly fast-moving environments.
- Strong understanding of statistical forecasting concepts and forecast performance measurements is a must.
- Hands-on experience with planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience supporting new product forecasting, demand analytics or forecast accuracy improvement initiatives will be highly advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present recommendations to regional business partners.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for solving complex forecasting challenges.
